My Story
After more than 25 years in the hairdressing industry, I believe I have the experience and skills to be the best stylist I can be for my clients.
I’m a highly professional, honest stylist who offers valuable advice to guide you on your hair journey and can help you to achieve your hair goals. Despite being in the hairdressing industry for over 25 years, it is still my greatest passion. I worked my way up from a 16-year-old trainee and achieved salon manager by the time I was 21. I went on to work in several high-end salons with the benefit of receiving regular top level training along the way. I have taught and managed a hairdressing academy, an experience I greatly enjoyed, sharing my passion and helping trainees progress in their careers. I have managed my own business alongside this and now I’m lucky enough to have THE HAIR SHACK.
THE HAIR SHACK is a calm space that allows me to run my business around my family.
Appointments are available 7 days a week, throughout the day and evening, allowing me flexibility to be a mother to my 3 beautiful children.
THE HAIR SHACK is my haven, set up in my garden it’s relaxing and peaceful without the hustle and bustle of multiple clients and stylists. I can offer you a one to one private service to get away from it all.
THE HAIR SHACK is also a great space for small group bookings. I regularly style hair for nights out and also provide prosecco and music to get you in the party mood.
From kids pamper parties, wedding hair, Brazilian blow dry’s to hair ups, I offer most hair services but I absolutely love a challenge! Colour change and restyle cuts are my favourite and speciality. You can’t beat the satisfaction of giving a client a whole new look.
